Introducing You To... My Little Hippie House

My little house/apartment/flat/home. It's called The Blutack House due to it's predominant colour scheme (inside and out) and I'm enclosing some pictures in this post because my little house inspires me. I've also got some little sneak peaks into my scarf and polish collections... which jogs me into thoughts of taking some pictures of my clothes - an activity in which one day I shall partake. Anyhow here it is:

Images courtesy of me, via the Instagram App, and with much love.

So I wanted to show you these pictures because my interior decorating is very similar to the way I dress every day... a sort of vintage, boho, shabby (but not too so), indie sort of style. I like scarves a lot, and consequently wear them with just about every outfit, and have them hanging from nails all around my house. The Vinnie's down the street sells them for 50c and they have the most amazing ones sometimes. That reminds me - I have to go check the rack tomorrow. I do love a good scarf.

Oh and yes, our bed is in the open kitchen/romping area. It is summer here, and right underneath the air conditioner is the only place to sleep - therefore the Kitchen Bed (as my Boy calls it) is a somewhat permanent fixture, for now. I like it - I really like the concept of 'open plan living', I feel like it makes everything a bit more cosy and lived-in.

For a full spread of pictures and some little stories of my daily (rather ordinary) lifestyle, go here. Otherwise, this little bit of post is finishing right about... now.
