These are the latest surf/outdoor fashion trend - Sanüks (see their uber website here). Hailing from sunny Southern California, they are recycled from the inner tubes of tires, and carpet - making them very globally friendly, and also hard-wearing for super outdoor antics. With a slogan like 'Smile... pass it on!', and a name that is the Thai word for fun, well, it makes you feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside - even if you don't own a pair yet.
Liking the Plain Jane pair pictured above (second), and would couple them with denim torn off shorts, a white flowy cotton shirt, my khaki skull scarf, a lucky surf anklet and a messy pony-tail. Ultimate beach uniform.
